Megan & Andy Wotton House

21ST APRIL 2018

Megan and Andy had a beautiful springtime wedding at Wotton House, with their ceremony held outside in the impressive Italian Garden.  The colours for the wedding were mostly fresh whites and greens, with just a hint of dusky lilac. Megan's bouquet was a relaxed, country style hand tied with ammi, veronica, gypsophilia, waxflower, roses, eucalyptus and some zingy lime green viburnum. The bridesmaids bouquets had a similar mix of flowers, with the addition of a few lilac 'Memory Lane' roses.

To pick up on the silver shades of the eucalyptus, Andy's buttonhole was a lilac rose, with some brunia and a succulent, which made for a more unusual buttonhole with different textures.  The Groomsmen had the same, but with white roses.

The couple chose to hold their wedding breakfast in the stunning Old Library, in which its pillars follow on from the look and grandure of those in The Italian Garden.  We dressed the pillars alternately with cascading ruscus foliage and fairy lights, which give some extra sparkle and a romantic feel. especially later on in to the evening.

For the table centrepieces, we hired the couple our wooden crates on log slices, and the crates were filled with a selection of flowers similar to Megan's boquet, with the addition of some bouvardia, lizianthus and ivy trails.  We also provided a selection of glass votive holders with tealights, which were placed around the arrangement.

The couple opted for a long top table in the centre of the room, which we dressed with a runner of eucalyptus and ruscus foliage, with a selection of glass jars of flowers and tealights dotted amongst them.
